If you want your orchids to bloom and grow actively all year round, offer them a special, purely natural infusion. This is not only an excellent fertilizer, but also a prevention of diseases.

Preparation of cinnamon and rice water infusion
Cinnamon is a natural antiseptic and fungicide well-known among gardeners. It helps prevent rot, a common problem with orchids. Take a full teaspoon of ground cinnamon and pour a liter of boiling water over it. Let it steep until cool.

At the same time, prepare rice water. Take two tablespoons of white rice and pour a liter of water at room temperature over it. Rinse the rice thoroughly so that the water becomes cloudy. Strain the cooled cinnamon infusion through a cloth to remove any remaining powder and mix it with rice water (separate the rice and use it for cooking).

use of the infusion
Water the orchid abundantly with this infusion, making sure that the excess moisture is glass, and place the plant in a large container. Leave the orchid to soak for half an hour.

Use excess infusion to spray the leaves of the plant on both sides. Place cotton wool or cotton swabs in the axils of the leaves so that water does not penetrate the plant and rot the root collar. After half an hour, remove the orchid from the container and let excess water drain, then return the plant to its usual place.

Feed the orchid regularly, once every 15 days, with this infusion. Such care will not only protect the plant from rot, but will also become an effective natural fertilizer.
